10 Things You Can’t Forget On Your Wedding Day

When it comes to your wedding day, a lot of things can get lost in the shuffle. You spend any where from 4 months to 2 years planning a wedding – there’s NO WAY you can remember every detail! I have compiled a WEDDING DAY CHECKLIST that will help you remember the little things:

A DAY-OF EMERGENCY KIT

It is the worst when all you need is a safety pin to mend a rip on your dress and NO ONE has one!! Save yourself some hassle and pack a bag with: safety pins, bobby pins, hair spray, stain remover pen, bandaids, pain reliever medicine, double sided tape”

 

SNACKS//FOOD

This seems like common sense but it feels like brides forget to eat on their wedding day and wonder why the feel like crap (and get drunk so fast lol). please remember to EAT that morning and before the ceremony. Yes, you’ll still fit in your dress.

 

JEWELRY//PERFUME

The lastttt thing you want is to forget those finishing touches! Most common things to be forgotten: perfume, cuff links, earrings, hair pieces, bracelets, etc

 

A NICE HANGER FOR YOUR WEDDING DRESS

Go on Etsy and buy yourself a CUTE custom hanger engraved with whatever you’d like! This makes your dress photos look soooo much better and put together AND you can keep the hanger for a long time!

 

CLEAN YOUR ENGAGEMENT RING BEFORE THE WEDDING

Make sure to get your engagement ring cleaned and polished before the big day! You don’t want it to be dull and dirty up against your new shiny ring – especially for photos!!!

FAVORS FOR GUEST

I would say this isn’t a necessity, but definitely something to remember if that’s something you want! You don’t have to spend a lot, just be thoughtful! Some idea’s include: custom shot glasses, custom fans, homemade goodies, engraved sunglasses, mugs, goodie bags. Tailor them to your theme!

 

AN ADVENTURE FUND JAR

Have a jar/box there for guests to donate a lil bit of moolah to your adventure fund, whether that be for a honeymoon, mini moon, or just for savings!

There is no way you’ll want to dance-it-up in those 6 inch heels…..bring some flats so you aren’t working about your feel blistering and aching the whole reception. You’ll thank me later LOL

 

PACK AN OVERNIGHT BAG

Oh yeah, I forgot there is more to happen AFTER the wedding! Be prepared by already packing and dropping off an overnight bag! Have someone you trust take care of that earlier in the day. That way you’re ready for that night 😉
