There are a lot of ways we get distracted in the morning. Often times the way we start off our day, dictates how it will go. If you want to see a significant change in your mood and life, try out these 5 tips to IMPROVE your morning routine!
There is nothing worse than waking up and not knowing what you want to do that day, then next thing you know its almost 8pm and you realize you accomplished 1 of the 12 things you wanted to do! When you write your day plan out the night before you have a clear plan to accomplish allllll you wanted to do!
If you tend to wake up groggy stretching is something you should definitely try! Getting your body moving will stimulate your mind and wake your body up. Stretching improves your posture, flexibility, mood, balance, and provides some stress relief. (we all need that)
This is the hardest tip for me to follow! Try waking up and stretching, meditating, or eating breakfast before you even pickup your phone. Being able to stay present will ground you for the rest of the day!
Food is fuel! In the morning if you can have a good breakfast with proteins and healthy fats as the main, and limited carbs. This will help you stay fuller for longer and not feel groggy. One of my favorite breakfasts right now is Acai smoothie bowls with bananas, peanut butter, and honey!
In a world where speaking negatives is WAY easier than speaking the positives about yourself. Write 3 positive sayings you would like to use to encourage yourself, “I believe in my capabilities”, “I am strong”, “I will make the most of today”. See how fast your mindset changes!
